The CIA Staff, Moga, today arrested two proclaimed offenders (POs) and seized a significant cache of firearms and ammunition from their possession.Those nabbed have been identified as Akashdeep Singh, alias Nikku, of Daulatpura Niwan village in Moga and Jaswinder Singh, alias Liaqat of Basti Machhian in Zira.During the search, the police seized five pistols, four magazines and 10 cartridges.While Akashdeep faces 11 FIRs, including multiple charges under the NDPS Act and Arms Act, Jaswinder has five FIRs registered against him.Akashdeep was wanted in a case involving the seizure of 20 kg ganja. Jaswinder was declared a PO in cases involving the seizure of heroin and weapons.
