At least eight women lost their lives and several others were injured on Tuesday during a religious gathering at the Sheetala Temple in Bihar’s Nalanda district.According to reports, the tragedy unfolded as a large number of devotees assembled for worship, resulting in heavy overcrowding that triggered a stampede, in which multiple people were crushed.
