Two weeks after Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann submitted complaints against the SGPC to Akal Takht officiating Jathedar Kuldip Singh Gargaj, no action has been taken in this regard so far.Akal Takht secretariat incharge Bagicha Singh said officials were going through complaints comprising 30,000 pages. “It will take some more time to go through 30,000 pages. Once it gets done, Akal Takht Jathedar Kuldip Singh Gargaj will decide the next course of action.”On January 15, CM Mann had submitted two bags of complaints filed by the sangat against the SGPC to Giani Gargaj during his appearance at the Akal Takht.Giani Gargaj had directed the Akal Takht secretariat incharge to take care of the complaints. Sources said the explanation submitted by the CM in person on January 15 would be taken up in the next meeting of the five Sikh high priests. Kulwant Singh Mannan, chief secretary of the SGPC, said the Sikh body would abide by the decision of Akal Takht. He said there was no proposal to hold the meeting of the SGPC executive.
