Two people were killed and four injured as a car collided with a stationary bus here on Wednesday night.The accident took place near Chak Hakim on the national highway.The deceased, Pritam Singh and Gagandeep Kaur, were residents of Dugri, Ludhiana.The injured, identified as Gurmeet Kaur, Harmit Singh, Gurjeev and Hansraj Singh, were rushed to the civil hospital.Jagtar Singh, an eyewitness, said the car crashed into the bus with great force.Harmit Singh, who was driving the car, said the family was returning from Amritsar to Ludhiana.Police sent the bodies to the civil hospital for post-mortem.SP Madhvi Sharma said legal action will be taken after recording the statements of the family.
