The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has approached the Deputy Commissioner of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali) seeking cancellation of the mutation and a ban on any further sale of land linked to Amb Sahib Gurdwara in Mohali. The committee has also urged the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), SAS Nagar to register a criminal case against those responsible for the alleged wrongdoing. The SGPC alleged gurdwara manager Rajinder Singh Tohra breached trust by using forged documents to sell the land and misappropriate the proceeds. It claimed the transaction was fraudulent and illegal and asserted that the mutation based on such documents should be cancelled. It also sought a prohibition on any future sale of the land to prevent further damage.A delegation comprising SGPC secretary Partap Singh, assistant secretary Gurnam Singh, legal adviser Amanbir Singh Siali and Sri Darbar Sahib manager Rajinder Singh Ruby submitted the representation to the authorities.
