The Punjab Government on Monday promoted DSP Bikramjit Singh Brar as the Superintendent of Police.A key member of the state’s Anti-Gangster Task Force, Brar was instrumental in neutralising the shooters who had killed Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in 2022.He was also part of the operations that neutralised gangsters Vicky Gonder, Prema Lahoria and Ankit Bhadu. Brar had famously taken on wanted gangster Goldy Brar in a leaked phone conversation.
