An 18-year-old boy died in a tragic road accident in Sarabha Nagar on Tuesday. The boy was riding a motorcycle when he was hit by a speeding and rashly driven SUV (Wrangler Rubicon). The motorcyclist suffered serious head injuries in the accident and died on the spot. The deceased was identified as Laksh, a resident of Ludhiana. He was pursuing a BBA from an educational institution in Chandigarh.SHO Police Division-5 Sukhjinder Singh said that as per the preliminary investigation, the car driver was driving rashly, which could have caused the accident. A case under different sections of the BNS was registered against the driver, and further investigation was launched.
