Bollywood actor Govinda, in a recent interview with ANI, recalled dealing with intruders who had barged into his society late at night. The ‘Coolie No. 1’ actor said that there were about 20-23 persons in the society and he was lucky to spot them on time. He said as there was no party scheduled in the society, he was suspicious about the entry of such a large number of people. The actor added that he recorded a video of them and tried reaching out to the Mumbai Police on phone, but did not get any response. He said he called police officers of another country and told them to stay on the phone.Thereafter, Govinda said he spotted a man climbing his building to reach the terrace, which made him all the more suspicious.“I called them. I informed everybody and called them. I asked (them) who they were. They said they had come to make electrical repairs,” he added.Unsatisfied with their answer, Govinda said that he “pointed a gun” in their direction to scare them away. “I asked them to leave and they were taken aback,” he said.Govinda said he did not try to find out who the intruders were. “That’s a waste of time,” he said, emphasising that an actor should focus on work and not react to every situation.
