The Hoshiarpur Nature Fest-2026 has emerged as a vibrant celebration of nature, adventure and culture, attracting tourists and local residents alike. Over two days, participants enthusiastically engaged in a range of activities, enjoying the serenity and beauty of the natural surroundings.In the morning, visitors experienced the scenic charm of Chohal through jungle safari rides and boating, getting a closer look at the region’s lush landscapes. It featured trekking, bird watching and off-roading activities, offering adventure enthusiasts an opportunity to explore the diverse hues of nature.The highlight of Saturday evening was the night camping event at Solis Tharoli, where tourists camped under the open sky. An open mic session and live musical performances added to the festive spirit, making it a memorable evening for attendees.An off-roading adventure was organised from Lajwanti Sports Stadium to Kukaneit-Dehriyan, drawing thrill-seekers in large numbers. Cultural performances and various stalls further enhanced the festive atmosphere, with visitors enjoying local flavours and entertainment.Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain said the primary objective of the Nature Fest is to showcase Hoshiarpur’s natural beauty and tourism potential. “This event is an important initiative to bring people closer to nature while promoting adventure and entertainment,” she stated.She informed that on February 16, tourists will be taken on industrial visits to Unnati, Fapro and Citrus units, along with a Miyawaki site visit, a Kids Carnival at Van Chetna Park, and cultural activities at Lajwanti Stadium. On February 17, results of various competitions and presentations will be announced.The grand finale on February 17 will feature a Singer Night by renowned Punjabi artist Gurdas Maan, which is expected to be the main attraction. The star cast of the upcoming Punjabi film Bambukat 2 will also interact with the audience.
