A major accident was avoided in Uttarakhand on Friday after a motor-powered tourist boat climbed and crossed over another tourist boat in the Alaknanda River near Dhari Devi Temple in Srinagar, Pauri district.Fortunately, a major tragedy was averted as no passengers were on board at the time of the incident.Soon after the boats collided, one boat operator lost balance and jumped into the river. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media, showing one boat speeding and climbing over another vessel in the middle of the river.
