Hooda leads Congress march to Haryana Vidhan Sabha, alleges ‘scams’ under BJP rule

The Congress took out a march to the Haryana Vidhan Sabha in Chandigarh today to protest the alleged scams under the ruling Bharatiya Janta Party government.Led by Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda and accompanied by state unit chief Rao Narender, the MLAs, holding placards and raising slogans against the government, reached the Haryana Vidhan Sabha.A sit-in protest on the premises was organised in which MLAs, carrying a rattle, raised slogans. Wrestler Vinesh Phogat also joined the protest.The MLAs were protesting the alleged “falling standards” of education, exclusion in the Lado Lakshmi Yojna, the slashing of names in the BPL list, rising unemployment amid jobs being given to outsiders, collapse of law and order, rising extortion calls, step-motherly treatment to sports and sportspersons, among other things.The Congress has already announced a gherao of the Haryana Assemble tomorrow to protest changes in MGNREGA.
