The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the transfer of Justice Lisa Gill, Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court, to the High Court of Andhra Pradesh and for her appointment as the Chief Justice of that High Court with effect from the date the vacancy would arise.It has recommended Justice Sushrut Arvind Dharmadhikari, a Judge of the Kerala High Court, as the next Chief Justice of the Madras High Court where the incumbent Chief Justice will retire on March 5.The CJI-led Collegium also approved names of nine advocates for appointment as Judges of the Patna High Court.
