The CBI on Monday told the Delhi High Court that the trial court order discharging Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia in the excise policy case is perverse.Representing the CBI, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the court that the excise policy case was one of the biggest scams and a clear case of corruption. The trial court passed the order of acquittal in favour of Kejriwal, Sisodia and others without a trial, Mehta said.He said the CBI had collected a meticulous evidence to show conspiracy and bribe for the manipulated liquor policy. He said there was enough evidence against Kejriwal, Sisodia and others, and that witnesses supported the CBI case.
