Punjabi singer Karan Aujla delivered a high-energy performance at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, drawing more than 30,000 fans in what organisers described as Chandigarh’s largest Punjabi live concert so far.The show, part of the singer’s P-POP CULTURE India Tour, was produced by Team Innovation and blended Punjabi pop, hip-hop and large-scale stage production.The show opened dramatically with the singer rising from beneath the stage on a pop-up lift to thunderous cheers. Production elements included a multi-tier stage design, large LED visuals, drone light displays, fireworks and synchronised pyrotechnic effects that transformed the open-air venue into a striking concert arena.The nearly two-and-a-half-hour performance kept the crowd engaged throughout.“Punjab is my homeland and the place where it all began. Tonight wasn’t just a show, it was a full-circle moment powered by love, passion, respect and pride,” he told the crowd, thanking fans for making the evening memorable.The audience reflected the wide appeal of his music. Punjabis, Haryanvis and Nepalis, along with children, elderly attendees, school students and even newlywed couples, were among those present.Comparing the current show with an earlier performance at Sector 34, he said the shift from a smaller venue to a packed stadium reflected his journey and growing popularity.The singer also used the platform to highlight the devastation caused by the 2025 Punjab floods. A video about the disaster was played during the concert, and Aujla reminded the audience that although almost a year had passed, its impact had not completely faded.He invited a flood-affected family on stage and urged people to continue extending support.“In today’s fast-paced lives, we often forget such tragedies too quickly,” he said.Musically, the setlist featured several of Aujla’s popular tracks, including “Softly”, “Winning Speech”, “52 Bars”, “Take It Easy”, “Admirin U” and “P-POP CULTURE”. The concert ended with a high-energy finale featuring “Try Me”, “Daytona” and “Gangsta”.The Chandigarh show was part of the 10-city P-POP CULTURE India Tour, which had earlier opened to a massive crowd in Delhi and Pune. The tour will now head to Indore, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mumbai and Ludhiana in the coming weeks.
