Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Partap Singh Bajwa on Tuesday slammed the AAP government and Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan for “refusing to allow” the tabling of a resolution demanding the Bharat Ratna for freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.Bajwa said the Congress had moved a resolution on the concluding day of the Budget session on Monday, recommending that the Centre confer the country highest civilian award posthumously on Bhagat Singh in recognition of his unparalleled sacrifice in the freedom struggle.
