Slain Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh, popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala, is set to become the first Indian artist to have a hologram-based world tour. The teaser of his ‘Signed to God World Tour’ has already created a buzz online. The tour will use hologram technology to recreate Moosewala’s stage presence for fans across the world. A hologram is a 3D projection that makes a person or object appear real without any physical presence. It uses light and visual effects to create the illusion that someone is on stage, even when they are not.A 42-second teaser shared on his official Instagram account gives a glimpse of the project. It shows Moosewala opening his eyes, followed by scenes of a packed stadium, creating the feel of a live concert. It also features a photo of his younger brother, also named Shubhdeep Singh and known as Nikka Sidhu, wishing him a happy birthday. Nikka Sidhu turned two on March 17.An official website – signedtogod.world – has also been launched with the tagline “Hale Mukeya Nahi Sidhu Moosewala”, highlighting that his legacy continues even after his death.According to the website, fans will experience his voice, energy, and presence through life-sized 3D shows using his original songs, along with cinematic visuals and live stage effects to create an emotional concert. The tour is expected to cover eight countries, including India, Pakistan, the United States (US), Canada, the United Kingdom (UK), the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Australia, and New Zealand.Sources say the tour may begin on June 11, which is Moosewala’s birth anniversary.Earlier, global stars Tupac Shakur, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Roy Orbison, Frank Zappa and some others have performed posthumously via hologram tours in other countries.Moosewala was shot dead on May 29, 2022, at Jawaharke village in Mansa district at the age of 28. Fugitive terrorist Satinderjit Singh, alias Goldy Brar, is the alleged mastermind, and gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is among the key accused in this case.Moosewala belonged to Moosa village in Mansa district and had unsuccessfully contested the Assembly election from Mansa as a Congress candidate in February 2022.His family has released as many as 12 songs in his voice after his death, and the latest was ‘Barota’, released on November 28 last year.
