Social media is reacting heartily to a story of seven stolen dogs – including a golden retriever, a german shepherd and other breeds, where they are seen in a pack on a highway.According to the South China Morning Post, these dogs were reportedly ‘kidnapped’ and put in a truck, for dog meat trade. Luckily, they managed to escape the truck and embark on a 17 km journey through busy highways and fields.On March 16, Lu, a netizen recorded these dogs walking along a busy highway in Changchun, Jili province. Lu told the mainland Chinese media outlet Dahe Daily: “They resemble a band of little brothers in distress, moving in unison – nothing like stray dogs.”The pack of dogs is seen protecting their member – the german shepherd – who was injured.It was later reported by a local volunteer that the dogs were reunited with their owners.
