A 25-year-old man, Jaspreet Singh, died of a suspected drug overdose in Sriganganagar, Rajasthan. He had moved to the area with his uncle, Manjinder Singh, from Abohar, Punjab, to work as a labourer. Jaspreet was reportedly addicted to drugs and took an overdose, leading to his death.The police registered a case at the Kesrisinghpur police station based on Manjinder’s report. “Jaspreet and his uncle were working as labourers in village Chak 40-F, making wheat husk,” said ASI Krishan Kumar, investigating officer. The body was handed over to the family after the postmortem examination.
