Iran has expressed its gratitude towards India, Pakistan, Spain and Germany for showing ‘support and solidarity’ during the recent wave of attack launched by Israel and US.The Consulate of Iran at Mumbai put out a post on social media expressing gratitude for the people of these four countries.The Iranian Consulate said in a post on X saying “Gratitude from Iran’s Aerospace Force to the people of Spain, Pakistan, India, and Germany for their support and solidarity; especially during the 83rd wave of missile response to the US and Israel.”It did not specify what was this ‘gratitude’ for, but most likely it is for New Delhi’s diplomatic support.India has batted for cessation of hostilies and has wanted an end to the crisis specially with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been in touch with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, while External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has been in touch with his counterpart Seyed Abbas AraghchiThe US Central Command on Thursday had said it has hit 10,000 locations in Iran since the beginning of the campaign on February 28.Also, Tehran is gearing up for a possible land attack by US. On Thursday in Washington DC, the House Armed Services Committee of the US Congress was briefed on options of sending, or not sending, US ground troops into Iran.
