A high drama prevailed as two women quarelled in Mianwali Colony area regarding the removal of stray dogs.A video of the incident went viral on social media in which the women were seen pulling each other’s hair and fighting in the middle of the street.A police team reached the spot. A police officer said they are investigating; however, they have not received any complaint from either side.According to an employee of Municipal Corporation, Gurugram, locals had filed a complaint with the MC to capture stray dogs in the colony. When the MC team reached the colony to capture stray dogs, some residents started protesting against the MC action. An argument broke out between the complainant and the dog lovers, leading to a physical altercation. Dog lovers even tried to snatch the keys to MC employees’ vehicles to prevent them from working. A person recorded the incident on mobile phone and posted it on social media.The viral video clearly shows women grabbing each other by the hair and beating each other. Two men are also fighting with each other. A man is filming the incident.A police officer said they got to know about the incident through the video. If the MC team had gone to the scene and people resisted the removal of the dogs, they should have sought police assistance. Based on the video, an investigation is under way. Further action will be taken based on the facts that emerge during the investigation, he added.
