Air India Group operates 30 flights, IndiGo schedules 30 services today for West Asia

Air India Group and IndiGo will operate parallel flight schedules to and from West Asia on Wednesday, with Air India and Air India Express planning 30 services and IndiGo also lining up 30 flights, as airlines continue to navigate shifting airspace conditions in the region.Air India said 16 of its 30 flights will be non-scheduled services to and from the United Arab Emirates, subject to slot availability and operational conditions. These flights are being operated with approvals from Indian and UAE authorities.Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah will continue to be served only through ad hoc operations. Air India and Air India Express will run services from Delhi to Dubai, while Abu Dhabi will be connected by Air India Express flights from Delhi, Kochi, Mangalore and Mumbai. Sharjah will see flights from Amritsar and Kannur.No operations are planned for Ras Al Khaimah and Al Ain.In Oman, scheduled services will continue on the Muscat route, with Air India Express operating flights from Delhi, Mumbai and Kannur. Salalah remains without operations.Saudi Arabia will see limited scheduled connectivity, with Air India operating flights to Jeddah from Delhi and Mumbai, while Air India Express will connect Kozhikode and Mangalore to Jeddah. Riyadh will have scheduled operations, though details remain limited for the day, while Dammam remains suspended.Flights to Bahrain, Doha, Kuwait and Tel Aviv continue to remain suspended.IndiGo has scheduled 30 flights across the Middle East network, connecting Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Kochi with destinations including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah, Muscat and Sharjah.“With travel conditions across the Middle East changing, staying updated is important. Flight schedules may change, and customers are requested to check their latest flight status before heading to the airport,” an IndiGo spokesperson said.Air India Group said its long-haul operations to North America, Europe and Australia remain unaffected and are continuing as per schedule, indicating disruptions are largely confined to West Asia routes.Passengers affected by cancellations have been offered free rebooking or full refunds, while Air India Express has allowed UAE-bound passengers to shift to alternate flights within its network without additional charges.
