Panic gripped the Punjab and Haryana High Court premises after a bomb threat was received on Thursday.Initial reports indicated that an email was sent to the Chandigarh Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) office, warning of a bomb planted inside the High Court.A police team rushed to the site and began evacuating the premises, causing traffic disruptions in the area. A Bomb Detection Squad also reached the location and launched a search operation.The threat comes just a day after a hand grenade attack outside the Punjab BJP office in Sector 37.Similar incidents have occurred previously. In May last year, a threatening email was sent to the High Court Registrar’s office, and in February this year, the District Court received a similar threat.Authorities are investigating the source of the email, and security has been tightened across court premises.
