With the start of the new financial year, Muktsar district police have intensified enforcement against traffic violations, issuing 218 challans and impounding 33 vehicles within 24 hours.Of the total action taken, 33 vehicles were impounded due to missing registration number plates or incomplete documents.Muktsar SSP Abhimanyu Rana appealed to the public to follow traffic rules diligently and avoid parking vehicles in the middle of roads, especially in busy markets. He also warned against rash driving.The SSP said, “Residents can report violations or share information with the police on the helpline number 8054942100. Their identity will be kept confidential.”
