Punjabi singer Karan Aujla has cancelled his upcoming tour stops in Ludhiana and Lucknow, originally scheduled for April 10 and April 12, respectively. The cancellations mark a sudden shift in his “P-Pop Culture India Tour”, which recently saw massive turnouts in Delhi and Kolkata.Ticketing platform District confirmed the news to fans, citing “logistical difficulties” as the primary reason for the withdrawal. While the singer has not issued a formal statement, reports from local officials in Lucknow suggest additional hurdles, including venue availability due to scheduled matches, difficulties securing a liquor license and concerns over revenue break-even for high-priced seating, according to a report by the Hindustan Times. This disruption follows intense backlash regarding Aujla’s Mumbai performance, where fans reported extreme heat, overcrowding, and fainting incidents. In an effort to rectify the situation, the singer has announced a “Mumbai 2.0” concert for April 12.Despite the cancellations in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh, the tour’s next stop in Jaipur remains scheduled for April 5 at the JECC Ground.Ticket holders in Ludhiana and Lucknow have been notified that refunds would be processed within five to seven business days.
