Lashing out at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Union Minister of State for Railway Ravneet Singh Bittu on Sunday said that it woefully failed to restrain its leaders who are committing excesses on gullible people.On removal of Raghav Chadha as deputy leader of the AAP from the Rajya Sabha, Bittu alleged that the party took action against him as he did not deposit the entire collection to the party fund, leading to disagreement between senior leaders and Chadha.He said they have entire record, including CCTV footage wherever Raghav visited during his stay in Punjab and collected funds. He said that the tussle between senior leaders of the AAP, including its president Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, and Chadha was so extreme that they even got him thrashed. Following this, Chadha went to England for treatment.He alleged that Chadha used to ride in the car of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and acted as “super CM of Punjab”.He alleged that Raghav Chadha used Punjab police and state resources to perform ‘disgraceful and ignominious jobs’ during his wedding with actress Parineeti Chopra in September 2023.He said that after formation of the BJP government in Punjab, they would bring all responsible persons to book.Earlier, Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, district manager Punjab Warehousing Corporation, died by suicide after consuming a poisonous substance after being humiliated by former Transport Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, on March 21.
