Shimla police on Sunday said the Rohru man, who has been arrested in connection with the April 1 grenade attack outside the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office in Sector 37, Chandigarh, has no connection with anyone in the region regarding the conspiracy.The accused, Rubal Chauhan, a native of Thana village in Rohru subdivision of Shimla district, along with other perpetrators, had collected a consignment of arms and grenades in a village in SBS Nagar on March 28.Also read: Punjab BJP office blast case cracked: Main perpetrators nabbed in Haryana’s RewariThe police said the accused has no connection with anyone in the Rohru area regarding the incident, as he rarely visited his ancestral village and was studying in Chandigarh for a while.
