The Haryana government has suspended Ram Kumar Singh, IAS (HY:2012), Additional CEO of Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority and Revenue & Disaster Management Department, with immediate effect.During his suspension, Singh’s headquarters shall be at the office of the Chief Secretary to the Government of Haryana (Services-I Branch).In a separate order, Pardeep Kumar-1, IAS (HY:2011), Director of State Transport, Haryana, and Special Secretary to the Transport Department, has also been suspended.His headquarters during the suspension will similarly be at the office of the Chief Secretary to the Government of Haryana (Services-I Branch) in Chandigarh.Both suspensions relate to the officials’ alleged roles in the Rs 590 crore IDFC First and AU Small Finance Bank scam.
