Many passengers face difficulties because of this,” said a passenger.Due to lack of water supply, people face great difficulty in the summers. People said they had approached the authorities to improve the condition of the bus stand but the effort was to no avail. The bus stand is dirty due to the presence of animals. Although some fans have been replaced recently, many of them are still non-functional. The shops built on the second floor of the bus stand have been closed for many years, due to which there is neither cleanliness efforts nor necessary maintenance of rooms are carried out.Roadways General Manager Manpreet Singh said he would collect information about the issues raised and focus on improving the water supply and cleanliness management. He further said he would ascertain why certain buses, particularly long-route ones, did not enter the bus stand. Since buses do not enter, the bus stand remains mostly empty during the day.
