MANCHESTER CITY have been tipped to beat Arsenal to the Premier League title on goal difference.

Pep Guardiola‘s side ended the Gunners’ 200-day stay upon the summit of the Prem table by beating Burnley 1-0 at Turf Moor last night.

City and Arsenal are locked on 70 points apiece with just five matches left.

Both teams have a +37 goal difference, with Erling Haaland Co top courtesy of having scored three more goals than their title rivals.

A supercomputer built by FindSisterSites has crunched the numbers to predict how the final table will shape up.

Surprisingly, the supercomputer has tipped both City and Arsenal to drop plenty of points between now and the end of the season.

It reckons that the title rivals will each collect eight more points apiece – equating to two victories, two draws and a defeat respectively.

This would see both finish on 78 points, needing goal difference to be separated.

The supercomputer predicts that each side will finish with 78 goals scored.

But ironically given Arsenal’s reputation for being a defensive side, it reckons that City will concede three fewer – handing them the title on goal difference.

In third it has Manchester United on 70 points, with Aston Villa back in fourth with 66.

The final guaranteed Champions League qualification spot is set to go to Liverpool with just 63 points.

Bournemouth are tipped for sixth with Brighton seventh – and Chelsea slumping to eighth having sacked Liam Rosenior.

Yesterday’s result condemned Burnley to relegation alongside Wolves.

And the supercomputer predicts Tottenham to join them in the Championship next season.

Roberto De Zerbi‘s men are backed to collect just four more points from their remaining five matches – finishing 18th behind West Ham on 38 and Nottingham Forest on 41.
