THIS is the shocking moment the exiled crown prince of Iran was attacked with tomato juice in Berlin.

Footage showed Reza Pahlavi being splashed by the red liquid as he left a press conference.

A man can be seen spraying the 65-year-old’s neck and jacket with the juice before being seized and detained by cops.

Moments before the attack, Pahlavi had denounced the US-Iran ceasefire.

A police spokesman said Pahlavi had been struck “in front of the building with a red liquid, apparently tomato juice”. He was not hurt.

The spokesman said an investigation was underway into alleged “bodily harm, property damage and insults against persons in political life”.

During the conference Pahlavi urged European governments not to appease Iran’s leadership.

The exiled prince warned that attempts to negotiate with the rogue state would only keep the current system in power.

“If you think you can make peace with this regime, you are sorely mistaken,” he said.

“There will never be stability, even if a watered-down version of this system survives.”

Claiming that 19 political prisoners were executed in Iran in the past two weeks, Pahlavi asked if the “free world” would continue to “watch the slaughter in silence”.

“The regime has never been as fragile as it is now,” he added.

Who is Reza Pahlavi?

CROWN Prince Reza Pahlavi has pledged to end the barbaric rule of Iran’s fundamentalist firebrands – by restoring a UK-style monarchy

Silver-haired Pahlavi, 65, has vowed to order elections and bow to a new democratically chosen government if he returns to his homeland after nearly five decades in exile.
He believes he is the figurehead needed to oust the mullahs who have crushed dissent with brutality since 1979.
He was 18 when his father, Iran’s last Shah, fled in 1979 as the Islamic Revolution replaced Iran’s corrupt monarchy.
The playboy Shah, who died in Egypt in 1980, was loathed after pocketing oil revenues as his people faced poverty.
Pahlavi promised to lead a revolt to free his people while seeking no power.
He lives in exile in the United States and has not ruled Iran, but is a prominent opposition figure calling for a secular, democratic Iran.
Pahlavi is a key symbol for anti-regime protesters, regularly speaking out against Iran’s clerical leadership and supporting recent protest movements.
He said he would be “a steward of a national transition to democracy”.
But he is yet to win the backing of Donald Trump who is not convinced Pahlavi has enough support.

“It is a wounded beast.”

Pahlavi is the eldest son of the former Shah of Iran – the last leader before the dynasty was overthrown in the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

He fled Iran as a teen and has been living just outside of Washington DC since 2001.

The former prince has put himself forward as a potential leader for a democratic Iran.

It comes as Iran’s top officials released what appears to be a joint statement, vowing “obedience to the Supreme Leader of the revolution”.

In a post on X president of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian: “In our Iran, there are no extremists or moderates; we are all ‘Iranians’ and ‘revolutionaries,’ and with the iron unity of the nation and the state, and with full obedience to the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, we will make the criminal aggressor regret it.

“One God, one nation, one leader, and one path; and that path to victory for Iran is dearer than life.”

It comes after US President Donald Trump extended the deadline to reach a long-term agreement on Tuesday.

A specific date for when the ceasefire will expire remains unclear.

Hopes of a deal to end the war were dashed as the rogue state inflicted “heavy damage” on one ship as the crew dived for cover.

But Trump has warned he “expects to be bombing” if a deal is not struck.
