White was spotted casually remaining in his seat while influential figures were escorted to safety.
He was also seen laughing and talking to others still in the room just moments after the ordeal.
President Donald Trump, who was rushed out of the Washington Hilton alongside wife Melania, posted a chilling video to Truth Social appearing to show the suspect charging the security at the event.
Other guests fearing the worst scrambled to hide under tables for cover until they were given the green light to leave.
White announced the traditional pre-fight protocol will be broken for the historic White House card on June 14 as the national anthem will be played.
