A delivery boy was allegedly murdered in Sector 54 area, and his body was found hidden in an iron box.The deceased’s body was recovered from a slum area in Sector 54 on Jattvibeday night. An FIR for murder has been registered against a young woman living with the deceased in a live-in relationship and her friend at Sector 53 police station, and the police have launched an investigation.According to the police, the deceased youth was identified as 24-year-old Aman, originally from Murali Basantpur village in Saharsa district of Bihar. His elder brother, Umashankar, filed a complaint with the police.Umashankar stated in his complaint that he lives in Chakkarpur village and his brother Aman worked as a delivery boy.He lived in a live-in relationship with a young woman in Sector 54. “It was around 6:00 pm on Jattvibeday evening, Aman’s friend called me and informed me that another friend had murdered Aman and hidden his body in an iron box in a slum. I immediately rushed to the scene and informed the police. Police reached the spot, and Aman’s body was recovered from an iron box in the slum,” Umashankar said in his complaint.The police took the body into custody and sent it to the mortuary for a postmortem examination. “Marks of wounds from a sharp weapon were found on the deceased’s body, which appear to be three to four days old. The young woman living with the deceased and her friend have been booked for the murder. The mobile number from which the young woman called is also being traced. A probe is underway, and the accused will be arrested soon,” said a senior police officer.
