Bhagwant Singh, alias ‘Pradhanmantri’ Bajeke, an aide of incarcerated Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh, has allegedly accused the Bathinda Central Jail authorities of harassment.The claims surfaced through two audio clips of around three minutes each, posted on social media on Monday. A senior jail functionary said they were verifying the date of the audio clips, possibly recorded during a phone call to a family member from the telephone facility in the jail. “We will act against him in this regard as well,” the official said.Bhagwant Singh belongs to Bajeke village in Dharamkot of Moga. Before being arrested over three years ago, he was very active on social media.He is lodged here in the jail, along with four of his alleged associates. In the clips, he is heard speaking to a family member, addressing her as “mata” (mother) and requesting her to make the audios viral. In the conversation, Bajeke alleges that he was being denied permission to visit the gurdwara inside the jail and was being kept in isolation.Claiming innocence, Bajeke says he has been lodged in jail for nearly three years in an attempt-to-murder case “without any fault”. He describes himself as a YouTuber who earlier made comedy videos.In the audios, he alleges that CRPF personnel have been deployed around him.
