I’M A Celebrity fans believe they’ve worked out the “real reason” Adam Thomas was “protected” by ITV amid the editing row.
The ex Emmerdale star, 37, came under fire from former footballer Jimmy Bullard, 47, who accused him of being “aggressive” and “intimidating”.

Jimmy also slammed ITV for not showing a fair representation of his row with Adam in South Africa — claiming they edited it to protect the actor.
But now fans have spotted a clever link between Adam and ITV bosses – which they’ve said is the reason why they went easy on the soap star.
One eagle-eyed viewer shared their theory on reddit.
They pointed out that Adam’s agent is Madison Lygo, who works for M&C Saatchi Talent.

Madison is the daughter of Kevin Lygo, who is the director of television at ITV, in other words the big boss.
The viewer wrote: ” I can understand now why Adam may have got a better edit and most of the camp are agreeing with Jimmy’s points.
“However, it still doesn’t justify the way David and Jimmy have handled the whole thing, particularly their behaviour at the final.
“Plus, Jimmy chose to leave and throw Adam under the bus!!! As sports people, they know that life isn’t fair, they should have taken their earnings and gone quietly! It was a lose lose situation.”
A second said: “ITV Edit – They had to edit Adam’s outburst due to the C word, but that could have easily been bleeped out like any other reality show. To have chunks missing seems odd. The show is finished. Let us see the footage. I imagine this won’t happen.”
But some fans have sided with Adam as they furiously hit out at Jimmy and David Haye for “bullying” him.
This person said: “Favouritism or not, the edit can tell a story, but whatever came out of people’s mouths is what happened.
“Adam spent a good chuck of his time being bullied. When he snapped back, he was accused of being aggressive because its just banter. Harry thinks its banter, but frankly he is from a different time where mental health problems aren’t discussed.”
A second added: “I don’t understand why people think Adam got the better edit. Did ITV edit parts out? Yes, but what they did show wasn’t exactly flattering and still caused a fallout before they started saying parts were edited out.”
On Friday night’s explosive live final, Jimmy said nine times that Adam’s conduct was “abusive, aggressive and intimidating” — a key phrase from the cast’s contract concerning unacceptable behaviour.
The ex-Wigan and Hull player, who has sought legal advice, also asked campmates including Craig Charles, Harry Redknapp and Sinitta to back him.
A source said: “Proving that Adam’s behaviour was abusive, aggressive and intimidating is the key to Jimmy’s legal case against ITV because that behaviour is in breach of the contract.
“Jimmy didn’t only repeat that phrase, he also built up on-air evidence of other campmates agreeing that Adam crossed that line.
“At one point he had his phone out to check notes but no one is sure whether he was also recording chatter between the cast. Insiders say it’s clear from his conduct that a case is being built and that the channel is braced for it after the way he monopolised his moment.”
Hosts Ant and Dec had invited Jimmy to explain why he decided to exit a trial, which could have led to Adam’s elimination.
Jimmy said: “Adam and all of you can be upset with me. And I absolutely threw him under the bus, I get it, I’ll wear that. But what I don’t stand for is someone being abusive, aggressive and intimidating. You didn’t show none of the C-bombs, that’s a liberty!”
He also pointed at campmates, saying: “Listen, let’s ask everyone.”
He then asked repeatedly: “Was it abusive and aggressive?”
Sinitta eventually stood up and said to the baying audience: “Enough, enough, I was there and it was aggressive and abusive.”
Ant claimed that the foul language had been “unbroadcastable”, and said he did not believe Adam had acted in an intimidating way.
Adam won after a public vote, but The Jattvibe revealed he later threw his crown to the ground.
Jimmy and David Haye were also removed from the studio.
