WEST BROM have confirmed former player James Morrison as the club’s new full-time manager.
Morrison, 39, has been caretaker boss at the Hawthorns since Eric Ramsay’s horror show stint ended after just 44 days and nine matches in February.

And the ex-Premier League midfielder will now take the Baggies forward in his first role as a permanent senior head coach.
Morrison, who made over 340 appearances for West Brom across more than 12 years, has already filled in on the touchline for three matches in recent seasons.
He was called on as temporary boss for his first foray into men’s management in January when Ryan Mason was axed.
Former Tottenham man Mason was only in charge for 27 games, which is still more than Tony Mowbray lasted between January and April 2025 (17).

And then Morrison replaced Ramsay earlier this year as well, where he has overseen 11 matches so far.
