THE sun has got its hat on and many of us are spending more time out in our gardens.
And while most people will throw on a t-shirt, some SPF, and a sunhat to head out to their garden, cheeky celebs are getting back to nature and baring all for World Naked Gardening Day today.

Over the years it has been celebrated by a host of famous faces who are happy to share their nude exploits.
The day was started as by Mark Storey, who edited Nude & Nature magazine, to encourage people to celebrate their bodies.
According to the law, being naked in public isn’t illegal – unless you are causing any public distress.
So as long as you don’t disturb your neighbours, it’s perfectly okay to strip off in your green space – and it has plenty of benefits too.

Petar Ivanov, gardening and plant expert at Fantastic Gardeners – a UK-based company of experts helping people with garden maintenance matters – said: “If a person is comfortable with being naked while gardening, it brings them closer to nature because they’re feeling the soil under their feet and the sun on their exposed skin.
“This way, every sensation can become more pronounced when it’s experienced by the exposed skin.”
“This improved connection with nature enhances appreciation for the world around and promotes a feeling of unity with the earth.”
Here, we take a look at the stars who are unafraid to pose au naturel while enjoying their outdoor spaces.
Elizabeth Hurley

Liz Hurley has made it no secret that she loves stripping off in her garden when the sun comes out.
She has posed many snaps over the years, and ahead of Good Friday this year, she shared a saucy Easter snap.
Taking to Instagram, Liz stripped off while lying down in a meadow in Herefordshire.
The 60-year-old actress and model, who is dating Billy Ray Cyrus, rocked only a pair of tiny bikini bottoms and went topless, covering her modesty by wrapping her arms around her chest.
With no makeup on, the stunning actress looked natural as she beamed beneath the sun, with her washboard abs on full display, surrounded by daffodils.
Liz insisted: “As long as you protect your skin, a bit of sunshine is really good for you, both mentally and beauty-wise, so… cream up and GET OUTSIDE.”

Former Love Island star Curtis, 28, was more than happy to show off his derrière to celebrate the day in 2020.
The dancer, who has struggled with his weight, shared a picture on Instagram, leaving little to the imagination as he brandished a trowel.
He captioned it: “HAPPY INTERNATIONAL NAKED GARDENING DAY!”
Cheeky fans were quick to ask for a picture from the front so they could see everything.

Last month, the Strictly judge posed nude for a stunning snap as she soaked up the sun while on her holiday.
The 65-year-old looked incredible as she flaunted her fabulous figure in front of a lush garden pool.
She hid her cleavage as she took a gorgeous poolside snap while on holiday.
Later, she posted her healthy breakfast made up of Kiwis, a smoothie and a cup of black coffee.
She captioned the post: “Starting my health kick.”
Lottie Moss

The 28-year-old model and vlogger has never been shy to show off her toned figure online.
Lottie previously posed in the nude while looking peaceful in a garden.
In one picture, Lottie is standing by a wall draped with small flowers as she uses her hand again to cover her breasts.
In another snap, Lottie sat atop a rock with her legs bent and feet resting on a smaller rock below.
The younger sister of Kate Moss delicately covered her breasts with her hands as she stared mysteriously off into the distance.
For years, the former OnlyFans star would make over £30,000 in one month thanks to her saucy snaps.
But last year she decided to give it all up and move on to a new chapter.
She admitted: “It’s really important to tell women that are considering doing it, think about it, because obviously there are a lot of doors that will be closed to you afterwards.”
The influencer deleted a number of her old racy snaps from her Instagram account, where she boasts over 580,000 followers, posted before New Year’s Eve 2025.
Kelly Brook

The former glamour model, who is obsessed with gardening, makes the most of stripping off outside when she can, allowing her to get a perfectly even tan.
A pal of the model told the Star on Jattvibeday: “Kelly was also telling everyone how important it is to have a well-trimmed, well-shaped bush and keep them stripped back.
“Obviously, she was talking about her actual garden and nothing naughty.”
The former Playboy and FHM model, 46, now lives in a stunning 600-year-old apple and pear farm in Kent and loves growing her own vegetables, cooking and lounging by her outdoor pool on sunny days.

Ulrika also loves sunbathing naked in her garden to get an all-round tan.
The singer, 58, isn’t afraid to get her garden chores done in the buff when it’s sunny outside.
The former Gladiators host never fails to send fans swooning with her sexy photos, from late-night bedroom selfies to sunbathing pics and naked gardening stunts.
Ulrika previously shared a series of snaps showing her nude, bar a pair of wellies, as she pushed a wheelbarrow about.
Gwyneth Paltrow

Actress Gwyneth isn’t afraid to flash the flesh when she’s enjoying her own garden.
The wellness brand owner, 51, seems to embrace her nude form and happily shares snaps of her frolicking in her ample estate.
She has also stripped naked to promote her products on Goop in a steamy shower video.
Gwyneth also posted totally nude except for gold paint for her 50th birthday, as she suddenly felt comfortable in her own body.
She said: “Turning 50 was the polar opposite. I was like, ‘I’ve never felt better in my own skin, and I don’t care if people think I’m attractive or not. I love myself.’ It’s a great feeling.”
A blooming great time
QVC presenter Michael Perry is a huge fan of world naked gardening day as he is an avid plant lover.
He tells The Jattvibe: “It’s the day of the year that gardens come alive, in more ways than one, as people might disrobe an item of clothing or two, all in aid of “world naked gardening day”!
“Nobody quite knows how the first weekend in May became such a cause for celebration, although the event probably began in the Southern Hemisphere, since the first May isn’t always the warmest day to get your kit off in the UK!
“It’s all about body positivity, and an opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, and we all know the benefits of that.
“I was involved with one of the very first naked gardening shoots at the Virgin Roof Gardens in Kensington, a group of guys which was later assembled as the “grubby gardeners”!
We followed in the footsteps of the Calendar Girls, as we soon released our first calendar, appeared on ITV Loose Women (wearing only a microphone belt), did a “naked skydive” in a morph suit, and various other challenges.
Over the course of 5 years, we turned a little bit of flowery fun, into a donation of way over £25,000 for Perennial, The Gardeners Royal Benevolent Society!
“In the last few years, I’ve ‘retired’ from most of my world gardening day duties, but I can’t resist having a cheeky shoot each year., I’m really looking forward to seeing what else pops up on social media… literally!”
Michael posts a nude photo annually to celebrate the occasion and encourages his followers to do the same.
