BJP leader and former MP Kuldeep Bishnoi has launched a scathing attack on his own party over remarks by Rajya Sabha MP Rekha Sharma about his father and former chief minister Bhajan Lal.In a video statement available on his verified Facebook page, Bishnoi said attempts are being made to raise a question mark over the great leader, his father Bhajan Lal.Demanding an immediate apology from BJP MP Rekha Sharma, he said, “Main wahi purana babbar sher hoon. A lion can be kept in a cage, but no one has the courage to touch it. Kuldeep Bishnoi is still the same ‘babbar sher’ as before.“If you continue to defame senior leaders like this, people will not forget it, nor will we let them forget. I make it clear: do not force me to take a step that brings you down to dust from your current heights. I am a disciplined soldier of BJP, which is why I am issuing this warning. Otherwise, I would have already taken a step,” he said, though he did not clarify what step he would have taken.Upset with the statements of Rekha Sharma as well as state BJP chief Mohan Lal Badoli, who sought to defend Rekha Sharma, he said that he condemned these statements, which reflect immaturity.
