Departures were an average of 19½ minutes behind schedule in 2025.

Birmingham was next worst then Bournemouth.
Liverpool was the most punctual at nine minutes, 24 seconds.
Civil Aviation Authority put together the data on 23 airports with at least 1,000 outbound flights.
Cancellations were not included.

The average delay was 14 minutes, 54 seconds.
That figure was down from 18 minutes, 24 seconds in 2024.
Rory Boland, of Which? Travel, said: “Manchester has ranked last four years in a row.
“It makes it difficult to book with any real confidence.”
The airport blamed the weather and industrial action affecting air traffic control in Europe.
Limits over warzones meant long-haul networks were hit worse, it added.
