TYRIQUE Hyde has just revealed that he was ‘depressed’ before appearing on Love Island, and slammed his “fake friends” for their lack of support.
The reality TV star and musician, 27, took to Instagram to share a snippet of a freestyle rap he’s been working on which contained lyrics about his mental health.

The clip began: “Here come the death threats. You wanna be my best friend, ask me nicely, that’s probably your best bet.
“Anyway f**k the world, whatever Brent said. Wish people were fluent in silence.
“[…]. No one gave a s**t before I jumped on an island.”
To make his message even clearer, Tyrique added a candid statement, sharing: “Wish people were fluent in silence.

The star signed off the statement by saying: “Shut up… respectfully.”
Tyrique appeared on season ten of Love Island, finishing in third place alongside Ella Thomas.
He’s currently dating All Stars winner Samie Elishi, following her split from Ciaran Davies.
The former flames called time on their budding romance only a matter of weeks after winning the show.
Then Samie confirmed she was enjoying a romance with fellow former Islander Tyrique just days after the bitter split.
Tyrique was accused of breaking the couple up after relentlessly swooning over Samie online, but he later denied that he played a part in the split.
Things have moved fast for Tyrique and Samie, with the pair jetting off over the Easter weekend for a romantic getaway in Morocco.
Tyrique also cheekily opened up about his three-year celibacy streak being broken during the vacation.
