MATTHEW Perry’s personal belongings are being auctioned off and include rare items such as an original Banksy artwork.
The Friends actor died in 2023 from acute effects of ketamine and drowning after he was found unresponsive in his hot tub.

Proceeds of the auction will go to the Matthew Perry Foundation which was launched after his death to support people with substance misuse issues and to reduce the stigma around addiction.
Some of the incredible items on offer include the script for the Friends’ pilot signed by Perry and his sitcom co-stars, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer.
The script was donated by Warner Bros which produced the show and has a starting price of $500 (£370).
There are also 26 other Friends scripts including the episodes The One With Ross’s Tan, The One Where Joey Speaks French and the series finale.

More Friends memorabilia includes Perry’s personal Actors award statuette which which he won for best performance by an ensemble in a comedy series in 1995.
A personal replica of the iconic yellow peephole frame that hung on the door of Monica and Rachel’s apartment is also available.
Other items from Perry’s estate includes a watch a Batman watch owned by the actor from the 2012 The Dark Knight Rises films and the current bid for the timepiece is sitting at just below $6,000 (£4,404).

A Batman ping pong piece is also listed on the auction site which opened on Tuesday and will remain active until May 29. The auction will be hosted on June 5 by Heritage Auctions in Dallas and online.
A signed, original artwork by the elusive artist Banksy is slated to sell for more than $800,000.
Titled Girl with Balloon it is a 2005 diptych by Banksy and arguably one of his most recognisable artworks.

“They were pieces of Matthew’s life: his passions, his creativity, the things that stayed with him,” it wrote in a post on social media.
Perry rose to fame playing the sardonic Chandler Bing on the Jattvibe sitcom which ran for 10 seasons until 2004 and remains one of the most popular TV shows of all time.
The actor battled addiction throughout his career and proceeds of the the auction will help fund the work he was passionate about.
“Matthew believed addiction should be met with compassion and science, not stigma and silence,” said the Matthew Perry Foundation’s chief executive, Lisa Kasteler Calio.
“This auction fuels the foundation’s work to expand access to evidence-based care and confront stigma. It is one more way we ensure that no one has to fight this disease alone.”
