A MAN has been hospitalised and two others arrested after a reported acid attack outside a McDonald’s.
The horror incident prompted a major emergency response by police and firefighters on Friday.

The area around the fast food restaurant in Ashton town centre, Greater Manchester, was cordoned off by police this afternoon.
Officers rushed to the scene after reports of an acid attack around 4pm on Friday.
One man in his 30s was taken to hospital, though his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Two men in their 40s and 50s have been arrested on suspicion of assault and remain in custody.

The force reassured worried locals there is not thought to be any risk to the wider public.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson told Manchester Evening News police were called to reports of a “hazmat incident”.
They added: “Emergency services were called to a business premises on Warrington Road, Ashton-Under-Lyne at around 4pm following reports of a hazmat incident.
“One man aged in his 30s has been taken to hospital where he is currently being treated for his injuries, which are thankfully not deemed life threatening or life changing.
“Two men, aged in their 40s and 50s, have been arrested on suspicion of assault and remain in custody.
“A scene remains in place, and there is not believed to be any risk to the wider public.”
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue also confirmed it had dispatched two fire crews to the incident.
