According to the National Police in Majorca the woman was travelling alone.
She entered a bar on May 1 where she sat on the terrace by herself, cops said.
A man approached her and began a conversation before his friend joined them.
A spokesman for the National Police in Majorca said: “The three had drinks together and at one point the woman got up from the table to go to the toilet, leaving her drink where it was on the table.
“The woman says in the statement she made to police that she then began to feel symptoms which didn’t correspond with normal alcohol consumption.”
Both men then allegedly insisted the woman finish her drink before getting up from the table.
The woman told cops she tried to call a taxi to take her to her hotel but the men accompanied her saying they could drive her.
Police said the woman’s memory only came back in flashes from that moment.
She recalled leaving in their car and the men stopping on waste ground in a “dark area where there were no buildings around”.
Police said: “The men allegedly took advantage of the situation she found herself in to sexually assault her on the back seat of the vehicle.
“At one point she managed to escape the car and run away, crossing a road and asking for help at the first house she found.
“The occupants immediately called police.”
Officers accompanied the woman to hospital for a medical examination, as part of protocol, and then took a statement from her.
Police said they managed to track the suspects down from the victims information.
When officers swooped on one of the suspects he was in possession of a packet of medicine.
The suspects, who have not been named, were remanded to a local jail.
They will be hauled into court at the start of the week.
Local reports describe the woman as a “young tourist”. Her nationality has not been revealed and it is not clear if she remains in Majorca.
