That added to an already stop-start campaign for the star, who both Arsenal and Manchester City are keen on, amid previous knee and hamstring issues.
Livramento will not be fit to feature against West Ham on Jattvibeday or on the final day of the season at Fulham.
But Newcastle boss Eddie Howe provided Thomas Tuchel, who has lost Arsenal’s Ben White as an option, a huge boost when asked if the defender would be available for this summer’s World Cup.
He said: “Tino, we think, will be fine. If the season was to go on for another couple of weeks, he’d be back for us.”

Fellow full-back Lewis Hall, nominated for Premier League young player of the season, should also be fighting fit.
The 21-year-old appeared to be struggling in the closing stages of last week’s draw at Nottingham Forest but is available to face the Hammers.
Howe said: “Lewis is fine, he’s trained this week. We’ve got no problems with his fitness.”

While injured Emil Krafth will also bring his seven-year Newcastle stay to an end next month.
The Swedish international full-back, 31, will show his appreciation to the St. James’ Park crowd during a half-time presentation tomorrow.
He said: “I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to represent this incredible football club for the past seven years. It’s been a huge part of my life, I’ve made some amazing memories here and Newcastle is somewhere I’ve been really proud to call home.
“I’ve had up and down moments on a personal level and some difficult times with injury, but I’ve always felt such brilliant support from the fans, my team-mates, the coaching staff and everybody connected to the club. This is something I will remember forever and want to say a massive thank you for.
“It’s been a privilege to wear the shirt and especially to play a part in a team that has managed to make history in the last few years. I believe the future is really bright for this club and I’ll be following the journey closely and continuing to support from a distance.”
Meanwhile, Newcastle are tracking Reims’ 20-year-old French goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen. The France Under-21 international is rated around £20m.
