Detectives have now shared the footage from the area at around 7pm, just after the stabbing took place.
The force has described the man’s behaviour as “significant” as he was seen running away from the scene.
Anyone who thinks they recognise the man or saw him on that evening are urged to contact the police as soon as possible.
Cops are also asking people to “think carefully” about whether anyone they know returned home with any unexplained injuries or whose behaviour, either before or since the incident is out of character.
