Amid continuing outrage over the alleged irregularities in the NEET examination process, the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has launched a campaign demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, accusing the Centre of failing to ensure transparency and accountability in the country’s examination system. The move comes in the backdrop of the NEET controversy, which affected nearly 22 lakh medical aspirants across India and triggered widespread protests, court proceedings and political criticism.Allegations of question paper leaks and concerns over the integrity of the examination process had sparked anxiety among students and parents nationwide.Launching the campaign through a video message posted on X, the founder of CJP appealed to students, youth groups and citizens to support the initiative and “build pressure” on the government to act.CJP launching campaign demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Please sign the petition: https://t.co/hXUOaCeIqJ#EduMinisterMustResign pic.twitter.com/dT6AmmoOQq— Abhijeet Dipke (@abhijeet_dipke) May 22, 2026In the video, the founder said it was time to make the system accountable and demanded responsibility for what he termed as a “massive failure” affecting the future of lakhs of students. The campaign seeks the resignation of the Education Minister and calls for structural reforms in the conduct of national-level competitive examinations. CJP members claimed that repeated controversies surrounding entrance tests had severely dented public confidence in the education system. The NEET row had earlier prompted intervention from the Supreme Court of India, while opposition parties and student organisations had also questioned the functioning of the National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts several major entrance examinations. There was no immediate response from the Ministry of Education or the minister’s office regarding the campaign.
