LOOSE Women star Denise Welch has confirmed when her pop star son Matty Healy will marry his model fiancée Gabbriette Bechtel.
The 1975 frontman, 37, got engaged to musician Gabbriette, 28, back in 2024 as she showed off a huge black ring.

At the time, Gabbriette wrote: “Marrying the 1975 is very Brat.”
And now two years on, Matty’s TV star mum Denise, 68, has revealed that the pair will marry in July.
She said on Toms Hirschsprungs Podcast: “Matty lives in Los Angeles, the boys aren’t in each others pockets but they’re there for each other.
“Matty gets married in July, which we’re very excited about.

“I’m very excited about that, that’s wonderful.”
In June 2024, performer Gabbriette and singer Matty shared the happy news.
Gabbriette tagged Matty in her post, which was put out as she watched pal Charli XCX‘s Brat tour in New York.
Dressed in a little black dress, Gabbriette sang and danced with actress and Kanye West’s ex Julia Fox as part of a wild crowd in the Big Apple.
Indie rocker Healy re-shared her ring post confirming the happy news.
Denise then spoke about her son’s engagement on Loose Women just days after the proposal.
She said: “Now that it’s official… he’s got engaged to Gabriella Bechtel — Gabbriette she’s known as.”
Denise revealed the rock was black diamond and the ring a bespoke design.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled. We couldn’t be happier — she is everything I would want in a daughter-in-law,” she continued. “I’m thrilled.”
The couple, who have been dating since September 2023, were pictured hanging out with Traitors winner Harry Clark backstage at The 1975’s O2 Arena gig in London back in February 2024.
Matty spent the summer before recuperating from dating Taylor Swift and the media scrutiny that came along with the relationship.
Gabbriette is an American model, musician, and social media personality as well as the lead vocalist and songwriter of the punk rock band Nasty Cherry.
The singer said she and Matty had wanted to meet for four years before he eventually hooked up with her in LA.
And giving a glimpse into their relationship she said they love eating takeaway and playing the video-game Fortnite.
The fashionista is known for her goth-inspired, 90’s grunge aesthetic, which helped her gain the attention of her agency, IMG Models.
She is also known for her famous cooking and baking videos, which she posts on Instagram and TikTok.
The duo have never confirmed how they met, though it may be through their bandmates.
The 1975’s drummer, George Daniel, is engaged to Nasty Cherry’s founder and band member, Charlie XCX.
Before dating Healy, Gabbriette was linked to fellow model Levi Dylan, Bob Dylan‘s grandson.
Matty has had a long list of ex lovers, but none more so than Taylor Swift.
He caused a media frenzy when he was spotted being driven to and from Taylor’s stadium shows and her home base in Nashville, Tennessee, in May 2023.
He even joined his friend and Eras tour opener, Phoebe Bridgers, on stage during the second Nashville show.
The duo were spotted several times in New York City, holding hands and kissing.
But their whirlwind romance ended as quickly as it began.
By June 2023, Matty and Taylor had parted ways and haven’t been seen together since.
