There are players in boss Thomas Tuchel’s party who have been to a World Cup before but others, and their wives or girlfriends, will be experiencing the excitement for the first time.
It is 20 years since the World Cup in Germany when England’s Wags took centre stage with their wild partying.
Here are some to look out for this year . . .

A year after going public, Reece, 26, and Mia, 25, posed in matching baby blue track-suits in what was thought to be their new home.
She graduated from London’s Royal Holloway University in 2021 and reportedly worked at HMP Coldingley in Surrey, giving legal advice to inmates.
She has also shared glam posts on Instagram, where she has around 27,000 followers.

The couple, both 27, met at school and were legally married in 2022 before celebrating twice more last year – with a Nigerian ceremony in a nod to his African parentage, then a reception in a Thames-side gothic mansion.

STUDENT and model Layla is the rumoured love interest of Manchester United midfielder Kobbie.
The 22-year-old from Manchester is working towards a fashion, business and promotion degree at the University of Salford.
Layla, who is signed to a modelling agency, says: “I am passionate about the world of luxury fashion and its ability to blend creativity, culture and commerce.”
She and Kobbie, 21, have not confirmed their relationship but did share tell-tale social media posts on holiday in Dubai earlier this year.
They did not pose together but fans spotted matching backgrounds in their pictures.

Ashlyn, 28, who has 648,000 followers on Instagram, once dated US basketball star Terance Mann, and was linked to Hollywood hottie Michael B Jordan, who at this year’s Oscars won Best Actor gong for horror movie Sinners.
Ashlyn and Jude, 22, met online in late 2024 then went public in 2025.
They have spent a lot of time together while he recovered from a shoulder op last summer, and then a more recent hamstring injury.

JOHN will have more than one reason to celebrate if England make the World Cup Final – it will be the day after his first wedding anniversary.
The 31-year-old centre back, who will leave Man City this summer, married property developer Olivia, 37, at an intimate ceremony in Ibiza on July 18 last year, which was followed by a poolside party the next day.
The footie final will be on July 19.
They began dating in 2019 and had a son in 2023.
They both have children from previous relationships.
