TV icon Bev, 69, revealed she had breast cancer on Ireland‘s RTE Late Late Show earlier this year.
She then told fans that she was having her lymph nodes removed as a precaution to make sure the cancer hadn’t spread.
Now, in a new Instagram video where she was joined by husband Jon, she told how she would need to start radiotherapy to treat her cancer.
Bev, who now lives in Ireland due to her acting role in Irish soap Fair City, sat outside in the sunshine before switching filming inside.

She told her social media fans: “Well I went to the hospital today at quarter past three, and they all seemed very nice, obviously they’re new to me.
“They are a little concerned because they think I should’ve started the radiotherapy before now but of course because we moved house, it took a while for my medical records to come from England to Ireland et cetera but they’ve all arrived.
“I’ve got to go back on Thursday morning to see some more doctors and medical people and then they will begin it soon so it went okay, it went okay.
“So I will keep you updated”.

In her video caption, she put: “A trip to the breast clinic today… it went ok, not quite what I wanted to hear but a step forward nonetheless Hoping to get started as soon as possible!”
After she admitted she was “nervous” to begin the treatment, fans were quick to react to the clip and one wrote: “Positive vibes Beverley”.
Another wrote: “Sending lots of love, it’s a small delay that couldn’t be helped. But now they’re on it wishing you love, peace and health xx”
A third posted: “Sending positive thoughts hope everything works out OK Beverley”.
What are the signs of breast cancer?
Signs and symptoms
Stay alert to symptoms of breast cancer which include:
A lump or swelling in the breast, upper chest or armpit
A change to the skin, such as puckering or dimpling
A change in the colour of the breast – the breast may look red or inflamed
A nipple change, for example, it has become pulled in (inverted)
Rash or crusting around the nipple
Unusual liquid (discharge) from either nipple
Changes in the size or shape of the breast
On its own, pain in your breasts is not usually a sign of breast cancer. But look out for pain in your breast or armpit that’s there all or almost all the time.
Although rare, men can get breast cancer. The most common symptom of breast cancer in men is a lump in the chest area.
Check your breasts
There’s no special way to check your breasts and you do not need any training. At Breast Cancer Now, they say, it’s as simple as TLC: Touch, Look, Check:
Touch your breasts: can you feel anything new or unusual?
Look for changes: does anything look different to you?
Check any new or unusual changes with a GP
One added: “I love how calm you are. You got this Bev.xx”.
Bev previously revealed she was back at work as she continued cancer treatment.
The screen queen previously told how she was remaining “positive and strong” about her diagnosis.
Yet she then shared an emotional update where she disclosed how she was forcing herself to eat.
She shot to fame after she appeared on the long-running ITV soap Coronation Street back in 1989.
During her latest I’m A Celeb jungle stint this year, she revealed her future on Corrie after her on-screen husband was killed off.
Sadly she was forced to quit the show on medical grounds.
