As Hazel was dragged into the shot, the beaming toddler was holding ultrasound scan pictures of her soon-to-be baby sibling.

Briony added a Christmas tree emoji, seemingly confirming she is set to give birth over the festive period.

Sam has played Chesney on soap Corrie since 2003.

He has been married to Briony since 2019, when they tied the knot in a lavish Cheshire ceremony after meeting as just teenagers.

While Briony works as a birth doula, which involves giving non-medical physical, emotional, and informational support to mothers giving birth before, during, and immediately after childbirth.

She is also a certified yoga instructor.

However, now that their baby news is public, Briony shared that she’ll be slowing down when it comes to work.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Briony wrote: “Now we’ve announced our news to the world, you can see why I’ve closed my books for mid-October onwards for in-person doula support.

“I’ve been at a couple of births while heavily pregnant in the past and I’ve found it’s just not practical with a huge bump. Plus I’ll need some time to protect my own headspace in the lead up to my own bump. Duolas need to birth prep too!”
