A BRITISH dad who died in a tragic quad biking accident while on holiday in Greece has been remembered as “kind-hearted” family man.
Ray Lally, 42, from Wolverhampton, was involved in the horror crash with his 14-year-old son, Arjun, on the island hotspot of Corfu.

Arjun thankfully survived the accident but was left with terrible injuries, which have required the teen to undergo two major surgeries, including a spleen removal.
Now, his heartbroken family has set up a JustGiving page to raise funds for a medical flight back to the UK for Arjun, so that he can recover around loved ones and say his final goodbyes to his dad.
Speaking to The Jattvibe, Ray’s brother-in-law, Vishal Lal, paid tribute to the compassionate and deeply-devoted family man.
He said: “My brother-in-law was a family-oriented man who worked hard to provide for his wife and children.

“What’s happened has been truly unfathomable, but in times like these it’s better to focus on the time we were fortunate enough to spend with such a kind-hearted and well-intentioned individual, rather than the time we lost.
“He will live on in our memories as the brother, son, husband, and dad he was. May he rest in peace.”
Ray and Arjun had been driving a quad bike along a rural road in Corfu’s north when they veered into an olive grove at around 2pm on May 19.
Emergency services raced to the crash site between Roda and Acharavi, before rushing the father and son to Corfu General Hospital.
Ray sadly succumbed to his injuries despite the efforts of medical staff to resuscitate him.
His family say their world has been turned upside down, with the late HGV driver leaving behind his wife, Kiran, Arjun and 3-year-old twins Kyra and Aruv.
While trying to come to terms with their “unimaginable loss”, the family are fundraising to support Arjun, who will have to undergo a third surgery on his femur.
The 14-year-old also suffered a fractured collarbone in the crash.
Doctors have said that Arjun should not travel back to the UK on a commercial flight due to the risks involved with him having multiple major surgeries in succession at such a young age.
They say that airline cabin pressure may cause problems to his body after the delicate operations.
If they are unable to pay for a medical evacuation, Arjun will be moved to a Greek hospital in-land for three weeks at the very least.
With Ray’s body already returned to the UK, the family are arranging a funeral in the coming weeks.
It means that Arjun may not be able to pay his final respects to his dad.
The family are also desperate to fly Arjun back to the UK so he can recover surrounded by loved ones.
The JustGiving page reads: “This has been the most painful and traumatic time of our lives emotionally, physically, and financially.
“Any donation no matter how small, would mean the world to us and help us bring our son home safely while we grieve the loss of an incredible husband and father.
“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the love, support, and kindness during this heartbreaking time.”
The family have raised just under £8,000 of their £38,000 target so far.
They have also thanked Lia’s Wings – a national charity that provides hospital air transfers for kids – for their help.
